What is i48?
“The teams will have 48 hours to write, pre-produce, cast, shoot, and edit, an original short film four to seven minutes long. A week later, all completed films will be screened at the Egyptian Theater in Boise, Idaho, with a “Best Of i48” Screening and Awards Ceremony”
So we entered the competition with these rules…
Genre: Action/crime
Character: Casper Marshall, Attorney
Prop: Angel statue
Line: “It’s not like they are going to arrest you.”
…and 48 hours later we got:
YellowBox Studio was honored to recieve the BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY AWARD at this year’s i48 Film Festival.
I’d rather say that this video is epic! Not only you captured the violence and gore behind the story, you also provided the funny side of it in the ending. I found myself bursting with laughter, and watching it once pretty much made the whole thing special.
ALL of you guys are incredibly awesome! I wish I could work with you somehow in the future. But I don’t know. You are intimidating. I’m like a tick and you guys are a bunch of Godzillas. Oh, that’s a compliment… I think. Haha.
